Mary Ellen's Basket
“Mary Ellen’s Basket” is named in honor of Mary Ellen Fifield, who was a stalwart community member and long-time Market supporter. This program is used to purchase fresh, local produce and groceries to fill baskets for those in Canterbury who could use a helping hand. A basket is prepared on the last Wednesday of each month during the summer and at each of the indoor winter Markets. Please visit the Market Info table – we will be happy to answer any questions !
For those looking to support to this program, we encourage you to become a member of the market. It is our members, and our generous vendors, who make Mary Ellen’s Basket possible.
